Service is full of theatre and role playing as one might expect. Picture and video taking is allowed so bring a camera or phone. All must be eaten by hand, as was the custom of the day, so bring an extra wipe or hankie because they only give you one napkin and the food is greasy, especially the chicken. Soup to chicken to corn on the cob, with an eclair for dessert. The food served throughout was quite good. The show is about two hours, full of combat and dancing horses. Screaming as loud as one can is encouraged. Teams are based upon color and the knights are matched accordingly. Then a trumpet sounds and the march to the arena begins. Shops sell their wares and a bar sells libation. You don't have to be a Middle Ages devotee to have fun here. But I finally attended with family and I get it's longevity.

The fun starts right away and continues for the whole two hours. We did not opt for the VIP and just had the basic admission and it was great. It was pretty good! (If you like sweet wines which I do!) There is a bunch of fun stuff to see in the great hall, and we were soon welcomed and then sent to our entrances.Įvery seat in there is great. We stopped at the bar and I had a Honey Mead. That said, the staff is marvelous and really hustled to get everyone in. It was already filling up and we had about a 20-25 minute wait in line to get in. We went to the early 1:00 show and arrived at 12:15. 😃 The food was good, and there is a lot of it! They offer you a doggy bag at the end in case you want to take some home. My husband took me today and it was so much fun! The seating is great, and comfy even for those of us who are a little bigger.
